Do you want to help students navigate to interesting courses in and beyond our university, and do you have a passion for working with data and digital systems? Then this role could be a great fit for you.
As an Education Officer, you are responsible for collecting, managing, and processing educational data in close collaboration with the Education Coordinator. You maintain records related to student participation in courses, student teams, honors programs, and the TU/e Contest. You enjoy working with structured overviews and have experience using MS Access databases and Osiris. Additionally, you use Typo3 to update the education guide and create visual materials such as posters using MS Excel.
You support the Education Coordinator with planning tasks, including the year planning and task planner in MS Teams. Your role also extends beyond TU/e to include education offered by partner institutions within EWUU, the strategic alliance between Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht. You coordinate the publication of these offerings on the EduXchange platform (www.eduxchange.nl), helping to make them more accessible to students across institutions.
You also identify and analyze barriers—organizational, technical, and procedural—that hinder student mobility within EWUU and TU/e, and collect ideas by talking to CSA's, program coordinators, and students. to overcome these challenges.
In this diverse and hands-on role, you combine a structured and detail-oriented approach with flexibility and initiative.
You’ll work on both consolidation and innovation, collaborating closely with colleagues (teachers, coordinators, education directors and CSA officers) from TU/e, TU/e innovation Space, and the EWUU alliance. A role with many possibilities for growth and development.
