The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) aims to become a data-driven university in which reliable data and insights support decision-making in education, research and operations. To achieve this ambition, strong data governance and high-quality data management are essential.
The Data Domain Coordinator of Education and Student Affairs (ESA) is the central service point for support to teachers and prospective students and plays a key role in strengthening data governance. As a Data Domain Coordinator of Education and Student Affairs (ESA) you make sure the TU/e is in control of her educational data. You do this by supporting the organization in improving the maturity of data governance, data quality and responsible data use. You work together with data owners, data domain coordinators of other departments, privacy, security, data management, archiving and the BI team to put policies into practice.
You act as the central point of coordination for data-related questions, initiatives and improvements within ESA. ESA provides services in for instance the field of educational support, educational logistics and use of ICT resources in education. Moreover, ESA supports the Executive Board, the Dean of Education, as well as the faculties in the fields of education policy, legislation and regulations, quality assurance, training and institutional accreditation, educational innovation and internationalization. You are positioned in the Policy, Advice & Projects (PA&P) department of ESA and are part of the central TU/e Data Domain Coordination network.
