Are you a strategic IT leader with a passion for innovation in research and education? Are you ready to shape the future of digital infrastructure in a dynamic academic environment? Join us to lead the transformation of our Built Environment departmental digital facilities.
As Departmental IT Coordinator for Digital Research and Education Facilities at the Department of the Built Environment, you will lead the transformation of our IT landscape—centralizing and future-proofing digital infrastructure across the department. You’ll be the strategic link between research, education, and technology, ensuring our digital labs meet evolving academic needs.
Two key challenges await you: first, designing and implementing a change process to consolidate decentralized digital resources into a unified departmental lab; second, developing a multi-year roadmap for sustainable maintenance, procurement, and staffing. You will also oversee compliance with data security and privacy standards, and drive innovation through pilot projects and emerging technologies.
Within our collaborative and forward-thinking department, you’ll work closely with unit chairs, education and research management teams, and TU/e’s Library and Information Services (LIS). In this role you’ll be switching between strategic planning and hands-on coordination.
