The Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry focusses on solving societal challenges in health, sustainable energy and circularity using expertise in molecules, materials and chemical processes. The Project Development Officer is occupied with a breadth of activities related to the acquisition of research funding and proposal/project development. As a project development officer you support the researchers with finding funding opportunities that fit their expertise, developing their research ideas and research funding strategy, coordinating (inter-)national consortia, and help with developing competitive project proposals. In this role you work closely together with Financial, Legal and HR colleagues, as well as with project officers and researchers from other departments as part of TU/e’s, Institutes, and the Research Support Network (https://www.tue.nl/en/research/research-support-network).
You will be embedded within the existent Project Development Office in the Chemical Engineering and Chemistry department.
