Then join the Education and Student Affairs (ESA) team of the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education (APSE) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) as our new Policy Officer Education.
As Policy Officer Education, you will be part of the ESA team of APSE, which is responsible for all educational support within the department’s Bachelor and Master’s programs. This includes curriculum development, study scheduling, quality assurance, educational policy, support for educational innovation, and overall educational organization.
You will focus on the Bachelor’s program Applied Physics, the Master’s program Applied Physics, and the Master’s program Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and ensuring the quality of education in these programs. You will help translate TU/e’s educational vision and departmental strategy into concrete policy and provide direct support to the program director. Your primary focus will be on overseeing and coordinating educational processes, with a particular emphasis on curriculum development and innovation.
As Policy Officer Education, you are the central link in the educational landscape—the spider in the web. You will work closely with the program director, the manager ESA APSE, the central policy advisor chain, the educational advisor, the quality assurance officer, and the examination- and program committees involved in the above-mentioned programs. Effective communication and collaboration—both internally and externally—are vital to your role. You will take on various roles including advisor, expert, project leader, and analyst, and are able to translate complex challenges into concrete, executable or pragmatic solutions.
