Research Support and Valorization consists of the Research Support Office (RSO) and startup helpdesk The Gate. RSO supports and unburdens researchers with obtaining external funding for their research and developing project proposals. At The Gate, business developers and IP-experts offer support in translating research results into successful innovations and new companies.
A unifying liaison who understands the academic as well as the corporate/industrial world
As TU/e Partnership Manager you will be responsible for managing and nurturing TU/e’s relationships with the most important large industrial partners, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth. This role serves as the primary liaison between the university and its industrial clients, often working across departments to ensure agreements that align with both the institutional and the industrial partner objectives.
Your focus areas will be the business aspects of the large industrial accounts of the TU/e, as well as the large partnerships with other research institutions and universities.
As TU/e Partnership Manager, you will have an operational reporting line to the Semicon institute and will work closely with the departmental management of each of the nine faculties and four institutes. You will have a landing spot in the central TU/e Research Support Office (RSO). The Research Support Office (RSO) is the central Research Support Office of TU/e and consists of a small, close-knit team of professionals who support the scientific staff in applying for European and national grants for research. The RSO team further consists of research funding advisors, grant program experts, corporate lawyers, and project managers.
